NOAH'S TREE OF NORTH CANTON
Full Description:
The blue spruce called "Noah's Tree" at North Canton had grown tall and wide in 24 years and its branches were inching toward wires close to the house.
"We loved that tree," Claudia Rocus said.
And this year, Noah's tree will serve a new purpose as the North Canton's Christmas Tree and was named as such in memoriam to Rocus' late husband, Noah Huff, who died of a heart attack in '84.
The tree was removed from the front yard of Rocus' home recently and was set up on the lawn outside the Hoover factory.
