Adult and student volunteer opportunities are available to help hospital caregivers enhance the service extended to patients and their families. • Transport Wheelchair Assistance: Serve our patients who need assistance during the time of illness • Hospitality, Customer Service and Information: Main Lobby Desks, Cancer Center Desk, Mercy Heart Center Desk, Surgery Center Desk • Mercy Ambassadors: A Professional Development Program for Youth: Three tracks of experience totaling starting with Cent Trans or concourse, Nursing Unit Rounds, Volunteer Department Assistant • Pastoral Care: Eucharistic Ministers, Patient Visitors. • Retail Services: Mercy Gift Shop or Mercy Boutique • Specialized internships, work programs, assignments as appropriate. • And much more!
